He’s probably best known for his role in “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” as Cousin Eddie, but Randy Quaid’s latest part is that of a jailbird.

The iconic actor and his wife Evi were arrested on a felony warrant for burglary, hoax, and conspiracy yesterday in Marfa, Texas.

According to a report,

they skipped out on a $10,000 bill at a hotel in California, and are now free on $20,000 bail each.

However, following his arrest, Quaid provided TMZ with a handwritten note that claims he paid the bill, along with a copy of the cashier’s check.
