They were all childhood friends and yesterday (January 5) Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie were spotted mourning the loss of Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson.

The “Simple Life” costars headed by to Nicky Hilton’s Los Angeles residence to join others in remembering their gal pal who passed away earlier that week.

Johnson will be laid to rest in a private funeral service

where only instant family will be permitted to attend.

A rep for the family stated, “The Johnson family wishes to thank everyone who has expressed condolences and support during that trying duration. Your thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated. The family asks for a measure of privacy by the next several days as they mourn their loss.”
