Natalie Portman Is Still Best Dressed

Just considering the only photos we have of Natalie Portman yesterday showed her in more relaxed clothes doesn’t mean that the best dressed actress can’t still shine on the red carpet! Natalie Portman has been all by the Venice Film Festival looking both casual and chic all through her visit.

While there, Natalie accepted the first Movie for Humanity Award for her devotion to humanitarian causes. The award comes with a $50,000 prize which she donated to the Jane Goodall Institute in Tanzania (to help a girl’s scholarship program — not chimpanzees like I originally thought).

Natalie plus premiered her short film Eve, her directorial debut, at the festival, and looked brilliant (in a birdlike way?) at the premiere for Birdwatchers, la terra degli uomini rossi.
