Actress Keira Knightley is one daughter who is bold ample to discuss sex with her mother.

The Edge of Love star branded her playwright mother Sharman Macdonald a “chilled-out hippy”.

She says, “Mum and I would always talk about sex. “She’d come up to my room, have me roll her cigarettes and thereupon tell me I had to have one with her.

“It’s not the typical mother-daughter

thing but we’re extremely close.”

She adds, “Mum’s a bit mental in a good way. She’s that chilled-out hippy mother.

“My house was always the one where my brother and his mates would be drinking when they shouldn’t be.

Keira was recently nicknamed the No.2 female earner of Hollywood after she earned $32m last year.
