As in the previous two outings, At World’s End promises plenty of action and though tiny-framed Keira says the latest film was one of her most physically demanding to term, she additionally insisted on doing most of her own stunt work.

“This film is definitely a little bit darker and there are some really great fight scenes,” she says gleefully. “I didn’t precisely insist on the fight scenes but I

did ask for them for my character in the first movie. I kept saying, ‘I want a sword’ and they never gave me one, so in that one they gave me two, which is great!” she laughs.

Pity that despite her deft swordplay, the hardy star has come under fierce attack from critics who say her slender physique encourages anorexia in young girls.
