Keeping occupied while situated on the east coast, Katie Holmes, her mother Kathy and daughter Suri were spotted out in Boston on Wednesday afternoon (October 7).

The three lovely ladies ventured by to the well-known Quincy Market, shopping at the GAP store and grabbing a bite to eat for lunch as Tom Cruise worked on the set of his new movie, “Wichita”.

Meanwhile, Katie just so happens to

be the November covergirl for Elle magazine, in which she dished on juggling family life with work obligations.

She tells, “In my own life, my whole world really revolves around family. I do what I need to do, but it’s like, ‘How is everybody else doing?’ And it’s wonderful for me as an actress to put some of that into a character.”
