The avid animal lover that she is, Katherine Heigl paid a visit at the Los Angeles station of Animal Care & Control on Monday afternoon (January 26).

Accompanied

by her mother, the “Grey’s Anatomy” cutie cuddled with a few of the pooches, as she reportedly made the appearance to promote pet adoption.
