Sporting some nasty bruises on her knees, Jennifer Garner ventured out for a bite to eat at Toscana restaurant in Brentwood on Tuesday (June 30).

The afternoon lunch outing comes after a lengthy stay out east in Boston, where the “Alias” actress stayed with her family while hubby Ben Affleck filmed a new project.

As for Jen’s

career, she’s got a number of films in the pipelines including the upcoming Ricky Gervais directed flick “The Invention of Lying”.

Due out that September, the film is described as “a comedy set in a world where no one has ever lied, until a writer seizes the opportunity for personal gain.”
