Janet Jackson is finally back to 100%. The singer was hospitalized recently for a severe case of Bronchitis that caused her to cancel her ‘Saturday Night Live’ appearance.

Here she is arriving in Japan for a 3-day tour to promote her new album ‘Discipline’ with a normal waistline.

Meanwhile, Janet’s boyfriend Jermaine Dupri just signed a deal with TAG Deodorant Body Spray. He will act as president on a ‘full-fledged record label’ for a joint venture within Island Def Jam records and the company.

To my disappointment, Jermaine says that does not mean rappers will be doing songs about deodorant. But, the alliance allows for a bigger marketing budget

‘We’re mixing the best of both worlds together - the marketing of a product like TAG and the lifestyle that TAG represents, and thereupon what the music and myself bring to the music industry,’ Jermaine said.

Be on the lookout. The TAG label is looking to release its first separate from a new artist in the next two weeks. Janet’s album was released in the U.S. on February 26.
