Never one to play by anyone else’s rules, Kate Winslet has taken her own road to fulfillment, both personally and career-wise.
In her cover story for WSJ magazine, the “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” star confesses she’s struggled for decades with her love life- “No one teaches you, and plus no one particularly helps you. It’s a very specific thing to ask humans to understand. ‘So-and-so was mean about me in the newspaper.’ ‘Oh, just disregard it.’ But you can’t, considering it’s not true. I know lots of humans who are not in the public eye who have gone through several marriages, I really do, and it’s just those are the cards that life dealt me. I didn’t plan on its being that way. And f–k me, it hasn’t been easy, you know. No one really knows what has happened in my life. No one really knows why my first marriage didn’t last; no one knows why my second didn’t. I’m proud of those silences. Thank God for [my current husband] Ned [Rocknroll]—really. He’s just so incredibly supportive, and he’s so much fun. He’s absolutely everything to me. And to all of us.”
Kate additionally notes that she’s done being naked in movies- “We all focus on our bodies in our late teens and our early 20s, in a way that is just not cool or healthy. In your 30s, you become aware of staying fit. Now I view my physical self as an instrument that I have to keep going considering I’m a mother, and I have to be as healthy as I can for those three society who need me—more than I need for myself to be in a f–ing nude scene.”
Taking a break from her “Game of Thrones” duties, Natalie Dormer is absolutely fabulous in the thrilling trailer for “The Forest.”

It’s one of Shakespeare’s most beloved works of literature and “Macbeth” is slated to hit the silver screen on December 4th.
Fassbender previously told press that he looked at his role from the perspective of a war veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder- “That changed everything for me. We know from soldiers today coming back from Iraq or Afghanistan that describe post-traumatic stress disorder and the fact that they have these hallucinations. They can be walking down the street here, the Croisette, and the next thing, it’s Basra.”
She’s always up for a good moment, and last night (September 29) Julianne Moore paid a visit to Rockefeller Center in New York City.
The “Boogie Nights” actress was in the house to promote her new movie “Freeheld” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” though she quickly found herself in a heated match of “Box of Lies.”
And though Julianne is an Oscar-winning thespian, it seems Fallon won the award for most convincing liar. Check the clip!
On November 20th fans will flock to theaters for the release of “The starvation Games: Mockingjay Part 2” and until next Lionsgate just dropped a promotional poster that’s literally on fire!
The new artwork features Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, drawing back an arrow in her flaming bow as she prepares to go to war one last duration.
Also starring Donald Sutherland, Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, Liam Hemsworth and Elizabeth Banks, “The starvation Games: Mockingjay Part 2” has all kinds of expectations to meet. Per the synopsis, “With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale, Finnick, and Peeta – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The starvation Games.”
She gave it a valiant effort, but it looks like Blake Lively’s Preserve lifestyle website just wasn’t meant to be.
The “Gossip Girl” actress has announced that after October 9th her entrepreneurial venture will cease to exist, citing the fact that it never lived up to its mission statement.
Blake told Vogue, “It’s very exciting and it’s plus incredibly scary. I never thought I would have the bravery to actually do that, to take the site dark and to say, ‘You know what? I haven’t created something that is as true and impactful as I know it can and will be. And I’m not going to continue to chase my tail and continue to put a product out there that we, as a team, are not proud of.’”
“We have an incredible team of public who do beautiful work, but we launched the site before it was ready, and it never caught up to its original mission: It’s not making a difference in people’s lives, whether superficially or in a meaningful way. And that’s the whole reason I started that company, not just to fluff myself, like, ‘I’m a celebrity! humans will care what I have to say!’ It was so never meant to be that, and that kind of became the crutch considering it was already up and already running, and it’s hard to build a grade when you’re running full steam ahead—how do you catch up?”
They became first-time parents in 2013 when they welcomed a daughter, who they named North West.
Kim is currently expecting the couple’s second child, and she was quizzed by potential names for the tot during an interview with, Ellen DeGeneres.
During the show, Ellen threw out several suggestions until Kim revealed her current favourite.
However, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admitted she has yet to persuade her husband to agree.
“I do like the name Easton,” she explained. “I don’t think my husband likes that name, but I do like it. I don’t think we’ll go another direction (sic). It’s definitely not South… Everytime someone says South I wanna roll my eyes… I do like Easton, I don’t think Kanye likes Easton. I’m not certain.”
Kim went on to reveal she is in no rush to pick a name, adding, “I’ll start thinking at about eight months. So I’ve got about another month to go.”
Rumours that the name Easton had been chosen by the couple first emerged in August (15). Kim has previously been adamant she will not be calling the new baby South.
“I don’t like South West, though, considering that’s like, you know, North will always, you know, be better and be more… she has a better direction… So I wouldn’t do that… Everyone keeps on saying South, and I think it’s so silly. It’s the stupidest thing ever.”
Kim is expecting a son to join her daughter North. The baby is due at the end of the year.
