Shahid Kapoor who was shooting for Phata Poster Nikla Hero which plus features Ileana D’Cruz, says that his beautiful co-star is very sensitive about her skin while doing stunts!
Shahid is pretty much excited about action-packed stunts in Phata Poster Nikla Hero and Rambo Rajkumar but insists not to label those stunts as ‘southern action’.
“There is no southern connection as such. I think we should stop saying that southern thing considering today nearly every second film has that kind of action and public seem to be really liking it. The entire country responds to that,” the 31-year-old said here Tuesday at the wrap-up party of “Phata Poster Nikhla Hero”.
“whether society enjoy it in the film, I will be happy considering it is for the first date I am doing that kind of action. There is more coming in ‘Rambo Rajkumar’. So both the films will have a lot of action and I am excited,” he added.
Phata Poster Nikhla Hero will plus show us some really good stunts from Ileana as well and Shahid commented that she was pretty nervous doing them!
“She was very nervous when we were doing stunts considering she says her skin is sensitive and it gets bruised easily. She was very paranoid about that,” Shahid Kapoor said.
“But we did a few rehearsals. Ileana was a little uncomfortable and we tried our best to manufacture her comfortable,” he added.

Actor and producer John Abraham is hoping to get behind the camera for a big budget movie, one day, which will star only newcomers.
“I will direct a big budget film with newcomers. I don’t know why studios don’t produce big budget films with newcomers! We need to support them,” John told media.
“Why do we only manufacture big budget films with only top five actors, why aren’t we getting mature? We all need to come out of that,” added the actor, who produced the sleeper hit Vicky Donor, starring debutant Ayushmann Khurrana.
However, John, who is awaiting the release of his next project Madras Cafe, is not certain when he will direct a movie.
“But for certain, I want to direct films. Whenever the right day comes, I will get into it.”

Karan Malhotra has finally pulled off a dream cast for his next directorial venture “Shuddhi”. Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor team up again after a towering hiatus. The director says a cliche it may sound, but the two will be seen in a completely new avatar in the movie.
“Yes, finally we have confirmed Kareena for the role. I feel she is a stunning looking girl and she suites the character best. I am certain she will do justice to the film,” said Malhotra.
“I am not allowed to talk much about my film, but all I can guarantee you is Kareena and Hrithik will be seen in a never before role in ‘Shuddhi’. I know it’s the most cliche line ever, but I can guarantee you on that,” added the director who made “Agneepath” remake with Hrithik.
Was it a conscious effort to reunite Hrithik-Kareena on screen nearly after 10 years?
“No, it was not a conscious decision, it was just a coincidence. They both look lovely together, the script demanded them and I am lucky to have them on board,” he said.
Kareena-Hrithik last outing together was 2003 release “Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon”. They were additionally seen together in “Mujhse Dosti Karoge!” and “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham” and “Yaadein”.
Talking about Kareena, Malhotra said: “Kareena is a thorough professional and she took it as any other job. I don’t think there are any differences.”
“Shuddhi”, which will be produced by Karan Johar, will go on floors by early next year.

Bollywood’s much-awaited movies “Chennai Express” and “Once Upon A date In Mumbai Dobaara!” are releasing just a week apart from each other. But actor Imran Khan, who plays a gangster in the latter, is unfazed and sees no point of competition.
Imran is not worried considering he says films nowadays mint a major portion of moolah within the first weekend of release itself.
“Chennai Express” hits the screens Aug 9, “Once Upon A instance In Mumbai Dobaara!” releases Aug 15.
“They (‘Chennai Express’ team) are releasing a week apart, so I don’t see any cause for stress. The fact is that nowadays films do a majority of their business on their first weekend (of release),” Imran told reporters here Tuesday at the cover launch of the stardust magazine.
“By the instance you reach the second weekend, they already are trailing out, so it’s not even a competition. The market has grown now, the exhibitors have multiplied ten-folds since the past, and there are a ridiculous number of theatres now,” he added.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, “Chennai Express” is a comedy and features superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, while “Once Upon A instance In Mumbai Dobaara!”, a period gangster drama, features Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, besides Imran.
Meanwhile, with majority of the films doing well at the box office, Imran is not interested in tapping the economics.
“(I am) not at all (bothered by box office figures) considering it ultimately makes difference to the producers and distributors (of the film),” said Imran, who has featured in popular films like “I Hate Luv Storys”, “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” and “Delhi Belly”.
He says he sticks to what is an “actor’s job”.
“My job is to do my scenes from action to cut, thereupon I have to turn up to promote my film, but beyond that it’s not actually in my hands…the director is the one who is making the film, the producer is the one who is marketing the film. So these things are their expertise, and I don’t enter into that space,” he added.

Real life couple and actors Neetu and Rishi Kapoor will be seen as police officers in “Besharam”, which has their son Ranbir playing the lead role. Director Abhinav Singh Kashyap says the casting was to raise viewers’ curiosity and that he has succeeded in his endeavour.
Very rarely has Rishi donned the khaki uniform on the screen and “Aurganzeb” and “Besharam” are one of those few films.
Apparently, when Kashyap had finalised Rishi for “Besharam”, till that instance “Aurganzeb” hadn’t happen.
“I was on the lookout for an elderly famous actor to play the role of a cop. While I was interacting with Ranbir, I realised Rishi Kapoor had not played a cop in his 40-year career,” Abhinav told reporters Tuesday at the first look launch of the film.
“As another afterthought I thought why not have Neetu Singh play another pivotal role, which was already there in the script considering soon after it will arouse people’s curiosity,” he said when asked how he managed to the entire Kapoor clan in the film?
The trio are working together for the first duration in “Besharam”.
“The very fact that you are asking me that question, shows that yes, by design I tried to get all three of them together and I am glad they agreed,” he added.
If you loved Ranbir as that fun-loving guy who believes in chasing his dreams in “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani”, his character in “Besharam” is complete opposite – he is naughty, shameless and justifies the title of the film, coming out Oct 2.
Young and bubbly actress Sonam Kapoor, who was romantically linked with her “I Hate Luv Storys” director Punit Malhotra in the past, says she will not date anyone from the film industry as she believes all the good ones here are already taken.
“I won’t period anyone from the industry, honestly. Industry guys are amazing, but the good ones are taken,” Sonam said here.
“I have learnt that work and satisfaction should be separate,” added the actress, who was present at the cover launch of Stardust magazine, featuring her and her “I Hate Luv Storys” co-star Imran Khan.
Sonam was all praises for Imran, who, according to her, is “the best looking guy in the industry”.
Recalling an incident when she felt overshadowed by the actor’s good looks and glow, Sonam said: “We were shooting for ‘I Hate Luv Storys’, and I kept on telling him, ‘whether you (Imran) will look more beautiful than me, thereupon I will really get upset with you’.”
“I was really upset at that moment as his skin was really glowing and I was like, ‘Oh my god! I will look awkward now next to him (in the film)’,” she added.
Off the screen one doesn’t know, Sonam’s on-screen love life has been quite exciting, courtesy movies like “Saawariya” and the recently released “Raanjhanaa”.
Meanwhile, the actress will soon be seen in the remake of 1980 hit movie “Khoobsoorat”.
