It was a bit of a shock when she and boyfriend Chuck Wicks were eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” that week, and Julianne Hough has announced she won’t be back next season.

The 20-year-old dancer/singer told press, “I’m not doing next season.  I’m gonna take one off,” after she learned of her elimination.

She continued, “We definitely went further than anticipated. I think he could have made it a little bit further.  But you know what? It’s the name of the game and it’s about fan base and hopefully our country fans will follow us into music.”

Miss Hough will be spending the summer stretching her touring legs as she gears up for a May 9th gig in Hidalgo, Texas followed by several other dates.

Jumping at any chance for publicity, Vanessa Minnillo was spotted on her way inside the Pepsi Throwback Launch Party last night (April 29).

The former MTV veejay looked lovely in a vintage white top with an embroidered neckline teamed with a pair of slim fit jeans and brown sandals as she strolled around World On Wheels, mingling with fellow party-goers.

Earlier that week, Miss Minnillo was spotted stepping out with her boyfriend Nick Lachey for dinner with a few friends.

Hoping to dispel breakup rumors, Nick and Vanessa both wore similar ensembles as a sign of solidarity.  But it will take more than matching hats to convince everyone that they’re doing fine.

The “Girls Next Door” starlet looked pretty in pink as she made her way inside World On Wheels for the roller derby shindig, sporting a pink top, pink shorts, and distant white tube socks with pink stripes.

In related news, it seems Hugh Hefner has issued some clarifying statements regarding his invitation for Miss Madison to move back into his life.

The Playboy mogul told press, “I have no concept where these crazy stories come from.  The notion that I’m pining by former girlfriend Holly Madison and would ‘welcome her back with open arms’ is pure fiction. It was invented by someone to create publicity. I’m in love with Crystal Harris and wouldn’t trade her or the Shannon Twins for anyone in the past.”

He continued, “Holly will always be welcome here at the mansion, but not as a girlfriend.  I think she’s happy now, and I know I am.”

Enjoying a sisterly night on the town, Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe were spotted arriving at the Pepsi Throwback Launch Party at World On Wheels in Los Angeles on Wednesday (April 29).

Clad in their finest rollergirl gear, the Kardashian sisters walked inside for an evening of fun, with brother Robert following along.

Meanwhile, it sounds as whether Miss Kardashian is inching closer and closer to a walk down the aisle, as she picked out an engagement ring, although boyfriend Reggie Vush is yet to propose.

She tells: “He definitely knows all of us went ring shopping. I definitely scared him and told him it was probably way more expensive than it is, just so that when he goes he feels like he’s getting a good deal. He knows what it looks like. I think I’ve emailed him ample pictures!”
