Enjoying a rare night out on the town since the birth of their baby girl, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted leaving Chateau marmont on Friday night (February 27).

Showing off her bright red locks, Miss Simpson was shielded by her Fall Out Boy rocker as the two exited a star-studded party being held at the popular Los Angeles hotspot.

Meanwhile, Pete is lined up to host the Australian MTV Awards at Darling Harbour on March 27, which he found out while there for the nomination announcement ceremony.

“I just found out. I’m very excited,” Wentz said, adding that he he may bring Ashlee and baby Bronx along for the trip, but said “I don’t know yet”.

It’s no secret that she enjoys the occasional retail romp, and yesterday (February 27) Ellen Pompeo was spotted by at Barney’s New York in Beverly Hills.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” hottie was joined by her husband Chris Ivery as she waited for car outside the swanky office store sporting a grey off-the-shoulder top and black trousers.

Meanwhile it seems that we’ll be seeing more of Jessica Capshaw’s character Arizona Robbins around Seattle Grace, as she just inked a deal with the show.

According to a report, Capshaw has signed on for the remainder of that season, and has the option to return as a regular that fall.

Always a fan of a pamper session, Hilary Duff was spotted on her way out of the Byron and Tracey hair salon last night (February 27).

The “So Yesterday” songstress donned a freshly colored and styled coif as she made her way past the paparazzi, sporting a cropped black jacket overtop a grey shirt with black leggings and grey leather knee-high boots.

Coming up that Wednesday (March 4), Hilary will be dropping y Tice Elementary School in east Fort Myers, Florida as part of her work with the Blessings in a Backpack program.

Blessings in a Backpack founder Stan Curtis told press, “Her heart will always be bigger than her celebrity.  She feeds 1,100 children a week in Los Angeles.  You won’t find a famous person more visible and vocal when it comes to her philanthropy.”

And it sounds like the students at Tice desperately need Duff’s help. Principal James Jackson told press, “We have the highest free and reduced meals in the county at 96 percent.  We’re proud to have her on our campus.  We have great kids, and a great staff, and they deserve some recognition.”

Come April, Jacko will be having an auction at the Beverly Hills Hilton where many different items from his estate will be sold to satisfy his massive debt.

According to a report, there will be life-size statues of Batman, Spider-Man, and Superman.  There’s even a molded rubber Batman costume fitted by a replica of the King of Pop, and an original X-Men arcade game.
