Is Mariah Carey expecting ? It seems not, at least for the moment.

It doesn’t mean that she hasn’t been trying. Since she married much younger actor Nick Cannon last spring, the speculation is that Mariah would soon be pregnant.

Last week, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres kept prodding her about it in an interview. She even tried to get her to drink Champagne. When Mariah only sipped it, Ellen declared, “You’re pregnant!” Which was the spark to that rumor:

Friends of Mariah said the rumor of Mariah’s pregnancy is “laughable.”

Teenyboppers camped for hours - even days - outside a midtown bookstore for the chance to meet the The Jonas Brothers Friday.

Apparently, it was worth the wait.
“Oh, my god, it was everything I ever hoped it would be,” said Tiffany Ramos, 15.

“They were all so nice. The best bit was telling them I loved them and them saying it back. I’m never going to forget today.”

Tiffany and her father, Steven Ramos, got to the Barnes & Noble on 46th St. and Fifth Ave. at 10 p.m. Thursday.

The boy band from Wyckoff, N.J. - known as Kevin, Joe and Nick to young fans - didn’t start signing books until 3 p.m. Friday.

“I’m tired and hungry and out of it, but it was worth it all,” Tiffany’s father said.

“I’d do it a hundred times whether I had to just to see the look on my daughter’s face … that is like the Beatles times 20.”

The Ramoses weren’t even the biggest die-hards in the crowd.

“We’ve been here since 4 a.m. on Wednesday,” said bleary-eyed Britney Rosen, a 16-year-old from faraway Island who swapped Thanksgiving dinner for a frigid, 59-hour wait to ensure she and four friends were first in line.

Kids came from from Chicago, Maryland and New Hampshire for a little face date with the trio as they signed copies of their tour book, “Burning Up: On Tour With The Jonas Brothers.”

“I spent $1,000 on the trip for my daughter, Monica,” confessed Chicago mom, Liz Kusper. “We got here Friday at 1 p.m. and we ran here.”

By 7 a.m. Friday, when wristbands were handed out to the first 500 fans, the line was around the block.

“One little girl was throwing up all night and another got trampled and an ambulance was called,” said Westchester County mom Bernadette Acompora, who bagged the very last wristbands for daughters Katie, 15 and Laurie, 13.

“They said thanks for waiting,” said Katie, who has been to 18 Jonas Brothers concerts.

“Nick was much hotter in person. When I saw him, I cried so hard. I would do it again. I want to drive from state to state to see them again.”

First things first, though.

“Now we’re getting food and sleep and a warm bed!” her mom said.
