Leighton Meester knows how she looks. I know the crazy little twits on Gossip Girl are supposed to be dictating what the kids should wear nowadays, but who has the duration? Petticoats, ascots, white gloves, and spats? Kids that dress like that are going to get their asses beat! Believe me, I know. I once tried to wear a white blazer to junior high and I’m still scarred from the bullying!

Leighton will reprised her role as pop singer Justine Chapin on Entourage next season. She arised as the character with a crush on Adrian Grenier’s Vince in season one. Leighton shares a manager with Entourage producer Mark Wahlberg.

Hopefully she won’t have to wear a corset or a pinafore or whatever the costume designers by at GG are torturing these folks with.

The sleep-inducing coupling of John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston does appear to be a real thing, as these photos indicate. John probably got the his recent tattoo sleeve just so he could stay awake. I’d probably additionally need to have needles jabbed into my skin at random intervals to keep from nodding off during their in-depth conversations about their favorite skin and hair-care products and John’s penchant for wacky jokes.

Their uneventful “frolicking” involved a lot of bikini cuddling and suntan lotion. I have but one question, how is there less sexual tension in the air than in this picture?

She may be under fire for her Vanity Fair and Net photos, but Miley Cyrus will still be center stage Saturday at the 2008 Disney Channel Games.

The Disney Channel stands by their Hannah Montana superstar, confirming that she will perform at the concert wrapping the weeklong charity event held at Walt Disney World in Orlando.

After some private photos hit the blogs – but before Cyrus apologized for the “embarrassing” Vanity Fair magazine shoot– a Disney exec conceded, “the Net adds a whole new twist to typical teenage life.”

“Being the most famous 15-year-old in the world is exciting but fraught with challenges and exceptional responsibility,” Gary Marsh, Disney Channel entertainment president, told the Los Angeles Times about their biggest star before the photo flap.

The scandal hasn’t slowed down Cyrus’s packed work schedule. In addition to the concert – which airs in July and additionally features the Jonas Brothers, The Cheetah Girls, Demi Lovato and Jordan Pruitt – Cyrus will start filming the Hannah Montana movie next week in Nashville. Her new album is slated for a July release.

Not to mention most industry experts expect Cyrus will be just fine. “The audience is going to let that one go,” says Jerry Del Colliano, a music industry professor at the University of Southern California. “The parents are going to forgive and the kids are going to love her just as much.”

Oh, lay me to the rest with all of the other lambs, Access Hollywood is saying that Mariah Carey,38, is engaged to actor Nick Cannon,27! Can a church hold that much pink tafetta? You know her colors are blush and bashful and all the bridesmaids will carry music boxes playing “Vision of Love” and she will have a genetically engineered unicorn carry her ass to the altar.

A source says that Mariah, who was recently linked with record executive Mark Sudack, is indeed betrothed to Cannon. She was recently spotted at the premiere party for her film Tennessee sporting a huge rock on her dainty finger.

Mariah was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola until their divorce in 1998. Nick Cannon broke off his engagement to model Selita Ebanks last year.

Know that, the wedding dress will be very, very tight.

This is some Mary Kay Letourneau-type gross! Actor/screenwriter/director Billy Bob Thorton’s son Willie is 14 and allegedly in a sexual relationship with a 22-year-old woman. Female molesters are insidious. They depend on that age-old double standard of “well, what a stud, he was getting laid at 14 with a way older woman.” Now flip the genders and see whether you feel the same way. I watch SVU, B.D. Wong’s character has taught me many, many things.

Apparently Willie and Letourneau 2008 were “dating” and her ex-boyfriend found out and dropped a dime on her. The LAPD is currently investigating accusations of “unlawful sex.” Willie is reportedly cooperating with police, and Billy Bob has been interviewed.

For real, how sad is your ass whether you are 22 and dating a 14 year old? Is the guy pool really that drained?
